Punkbodies

Punkbodies — "Express Yourself Digitally" — is a composable NFT project on Ethereum that lets CryptoPunk owners turn their Punks into build-your-own avatars. Launched in March 2021 with a collection of 10,000 generative bodies matching the skin tones and types of every CryptoPunk, it lets holders combine a Wrapped CryptoPunk (ERC-721) with a PunkBody (ERC-721) in The Punkster Factory to compose a single Punkster NFT — and decompose it again by burning. The website pairs the on-chain mint and showcase gallery with a community hub where members share Punk-inspired tattoos, clothing, 3D avatars, and other creations.

The clients of Punkbodies form a diverse and dynamic community united by a shared passion for digital art, creativity, and the unique world of NFTs — NFT enthusiasts, digital artists, innovators, and fashion/lifestyle creators. Members treat their Punks as canvases for tattoos, clothing prints, 3D avatars, and paintings, collaborating through a Discord hub with the vision of Punks becoming a universal NFT tool and collectible that can be applied to all Punks.
